Wow, this was by far the best excursion we’ve been on during a vacations our entire family loved it. Scenery was great, e bikes were a blast and our host was delightful. Best trip ever!

Experience One of Pebble Beach’s Most Picturesque Paths
Soak up the beautiful coast of Northern California in this 2.5-hour guided e-bike tour. Meet us at our newest location at 2106 Sunset Drive, just below the Pacific Grove Gate to 17-Mile Drive. We’ll introduce you to the e-bikes and give you a safety briefing.
As we begin our ride, marvel at The Links at Spanish Bay, a stunning golf course with fairways overlooking the ocean. Our first stop will be Spanish Bay Beach where we share a little of our area’s fascinating history. Inhale the fresh sea air, coupled with aromas of coastal sage and native plants holding back the dunes. Our next stop is Point Joe where, if you’re lucky, you’ll get to see golfers trying their hand at one of the most scenic holes in the world….175 yard drive over the ocean to the green!
As we continue along, snap a photo of China Rock and Bird Rock (which, despite its name, is shared by sea lions). More sweeping vistas await at Fanshell Beach and Cypress Point.
We’ll relieve the Lone Cypress of its solitude for a few moments before continuing our ride to the Ghost Trees at Pescadero Point. Take a minute to imagine yourself in one of the luxurious mansions along the path.
Last but not least, we turn around at the Pebble Beach Lodge where you have a few minutes to shop or enjoy coffee & gelato while gazing out over Carmel Bay.
Our local guides will share their knowledge of the area’s unique ocean wildlife and iconic landmarks throughout the tour. The full ride is 16 miles round trip and lasts approximately 2.5 hours, including plenty of time for photographs.
With most groups we take a leisurely pace. But with some faster groups we have time at the end for a bonus “preview” of our Monterey Coastal Tour through the Pacific Grove Marine Gardens Conservation Area! You can pay homage to the memory of John Denver as we pass his memorial. Continuing our trek up the coast, we’ll have a chance to see the Point Pinos Lighthouse, which has shone since 1855. We’ll then pedal past the sandy shores of Asilomar State Beach, making stops at viewpoints to take in ocean vistas and the fresh sea breeze before returning to where our ride began.

Adjust the bike’s electric assistance to fit your preferences. It’s suitable both for people who want a good workout and for those that don’t want to expend much energy.
Other Things To Keep in Mind
- Our ride alternates between separate bike lanes and roads shared with vehicles (25 mph speed limit).
- This tour is recommended for riders aged 16 and older.
- For those of you considering taking children as passengers, we’d like to note that the tour pace may be faster than some are comfortable with (15-20 mph). If we go too fast for you, your guide can set you up to ride at your own pace. Under these circumstances, we will only bill you the rental rate, not the tour price.
- Though we have over 120 e-bikes, we limit this tour to 20 riders to stay safe and avoid negatively impacting traffic. We may be able to make an exception for special events if you contact us(opens in a new tab) in advance.
- While Southern California is known for its sunny weather, our climate here up north tends to be a bit cooler. We recommend dressing warmly so that you can fully enjoy the ride!

What a great way to see the California coast up close and personal. The electric bikes are incredible and make the ride pure pleasure. Our guide made numerous stops to talk about each location and was very knowledgeable. The kids were able to get off the bikes and run around for a few mins while the guide talked to those who were interested. I had my 11 yo daughter ride with me and the electric bike made it so easy. My 16 yo had her own bike and could not stop talking about how much fun she had. We had driven 17 mile drive in the past but this is without question the way to go!! The sights and sounds are simply stunning.
What a wonderful experience! My fiance was a little hesitant to try this because it had been a while (or some decades) since he’d been on a bicycle. It was literally the best part of our trip! We covered so much of the area, our guide had a wealth of knowledge, the sites were breathtaking, and it was just plain fun to be on the bikes.
Easily the most fun I’ve ever had on a bike and definitely the best way to explore Monterey and the surrounding coastline. Completely blown away by this experience and everything we got to see (including whales and seals) in this beautiful area. Our guide was so rich in knowledge and was incredibly passionate about Monterey – it was lovely to see! An absolute must do experience!!
