Legendary for it's beauty, 17-mile Drive meanders up and down the hills of Pebble Beach, past amazing mansions and it's famous golf courses.  We wind our way along the rugged coastline and through thick cypress groves, stopping at all the amazing viewpoints.  Our local guides share their knowledge of the area's unique ocean wildlife and iconic landmarks...the Lone Cypress, Point Pinos Lighthouse, Lover's Point, Asilomar Beach.

Alternating between separated bike lanes and road shared with vehicles (25 mph speed limit), we recommend this tour for riders ages 16+.

21 miles round trip, approximately 3.5 hrs (1.5 hrs of riding, 2 hrs of photo taking).

Though we have over 120 e-bikes, to stay safe and not negatively impact traffic, we limit this tour to 20 riders, except for special events planned in advance.  Winter special: $89 for 1 rider. $59 each for 2+ riders.  Call to set up tour for groups larger than 6 or for tours at times not listed.  We can arrange lunch or transportation services with advance notice.

The ride is on a dirt road that follows the original wagon trail into Big Sur.  We ride from Andrew Molera State Park to Bixby Bridge, climbing at first to a section that has amazing views of the Point Sur Lighthouse. Then the road dips into the backcountry riding through oaks & redwoods.  We cross the Little Sur River on a small wooden bridge and then start a steep climb back up a mountain behind Bixby Canyon. Then there’s a long descent heading back out to the ocean, coming out at Bixby Bridge.

It’s about 10 miles and involves some really long climbs....which is where everyone gets super excited about that 750 watt motor.

We have a few different options for shuttling everyone back to the cars, depending on group size.

$150 each.

This tour follows Highway 1 down one of the most scenic stretches, past famous McWay Falls.   Much of the tour involve riding with traffic in Class 3 bike lanes (only 12" wide in places) where the speed limit is 55 mph, so this tour is for those with road-cycling experience only.

We launch at dawn or sunset when traffic is significantly reduced, ride at 20 mph+, and follow with a chase vehicle carrying backup bikes (in case of a flat) and a sign announcing "cyclists ahead."
